fordy_alexsupra
Ahh so there is a all round engine temp sensor, not just for the coolant temp (the one at the bottom of the rad?) Or am I wrong where is the location of the ecu temp sensor?
fordy_alexsupra
I would suggest to check temperature sensor, even if gauge showing fine, one between engine and ecu might be gone and ecu thinks engine is cold thus adding more fuel... Which sensor do you mean, the one at the bottom of the rad?
Iky
Which sensor do you mean, the one at the bottom of the rad? /QUOTE] No, there are 2 sensors in the alloy neck bit that comes off the water pump. Under the upper radiator hose engine side. The one with two wires is the one to check. The other one with one wire is just for the guage in the speedo. fordy_alexsupra
The resistance on my engine coolant temp (ECT), on a hot engine just after driving seems ok, is states 250 ohms (0.25 kohms) In the manual it has a graph and at 80 deg C coolant temp the resistance should be 0.2 kohoms, so I guess it is ok, what guys think!?
