Preffered auxillary belt size?

What size belt are people using other than stock? In fact what is Mr T's OEM size?

I have just replaced mine with a Quinton Hazel from a local factor Co. who say it should be a 1932mm, reading through past threads (some dating back to 05) I see some people have different ideas on what should be used ranging from 1932mm up to 1955mm. The QH 1932mm one I have fitted seems way too tight for my liking and I feel is putting strain on the whole belt drive train with the idler tensioner pushed hard over. I am tempted to go for a 1955mm but curious to know what others have found. Camskill do the whole range and charge £17 for any in the whole range.

I'm pretty sure the oem size is 1938mm I would just get an oem one, they're not all that much more expensive than others.

Unless you're running different pullies/ non a/c. ?

Thanks for that, the only non oem pulley I am running at the moment is the new nylon idler I swapped with DavidP as he needed my steel one for his supercharger project. The old belt was a 1938 and I still feel that was a bit tight too, but will probably go for another.

Out of interest, a 6pk1955 is available off the shelves at any GSF car parts outlet, made by either Gates or Dayco for £11, and although I wouldnt want to bet my life on it, I would guess Mr T's are made by either Gates or Dayco. The 6pk1955 is shared with lots of Renaults and also a Escort RS2000.
