barneybrendan Posted March 20, 2012 Share Posted March 20, 2012 My fog light is in the reversing light lense,but its still a white bulb.I cant understand how it ever got thgrough an mot.How can i sort this out as i cant seem to find a red bulb anywhere. I'll be doing the diode mod to mine. Most motor factors/ halfords should sell red coloured bulbs of the correct pin configuration. (or ebay) * UPDATE * I can't believe the old relay mod is still advicated,. 4 diodes does the same job. Lyndon. jonc Posted March 21, 2012 Share Posted March 21, 2012 My VVTI facelift has the same mod on the reversing light (possibly the same electrician) and my bulb is painted with nail varnish which gives a good red glow.
