chilli
Oh yes, now the ring was a film and a half, I like all the World cinema films. Anyone seen the original dark waters? The re make is at the cinema now. The koreans know how to scare!
how_supra
I guess what one person finds terrorifing isn’t to another. I guy running around with knifes for fingers or a scream mask just doesn’t do IT for me. A drowned girl crawling out you tv set is more appealing to me I could never watch the Ring or anything like that. I started to watch Amityville at the weekend, but fortunately the dvd was damaged and I couldn't watch it all - that was flipping scary. chilli
I do that, lol. Buy films and end up waiting months before watching them! It's a little long but i liked it. You planning on seeing the new one?

You planning on seeing the new one? LOL I have a ‘thing’ about watching films (especially horror) at the correct time of day. Before 9:00 is wrong (you need to watch horror films at night in total darkness) After 10;00 is to late and Im tired and can't concentrate. If the delivery boys late with the take-away or pizza its fucks the artinary up which frequently happens.
Rob
I thought Creep was the Thom Yorke story. The Ring seriously put the sh1ts up me, I posted about it before, but to re-cap, I watched it after midnight, on my own, and due to an issue with our modem and dial-up connection, shortly after the film finished, I went on-line to do a bit of research,.... and the bloody phone started ringing!!! OMG.

terribleturner
I watched the ring at about 3 in the morning once when i had insomnia and didn't find it scary at all, but then i was weened on horror movies from an early age. The Evil Dead is always a good one, but then the pencil in the ankle just gets me everytime
Tigger
CREEP = CRAP Watched it last night. Really had trouble to keep my eye's open, story line? what story line? acting crap. To predictable and like Mawby said it was random scenes put together to create a film. “This film does for public transport what Pyhsco does for showers" Hmm think not
Seb
I thought Creep was utter shite - there was not one moment where I was scared or even jumped. Now The Descent - that's a good movie.

Now The Descent - that's a good movie. you guys are HARD mo'fos. If I had my legs tied up in stirrups and my family jewels about to be hacked off by Harold Shipman's younger and very slightly inbred younger brother I'd be crapping myself. _Lick_
I agree it was a little random, the "Operation" scene made me feel ill EwWWww The women annoyed me more than anything tho, if someones mutilating your "friends" and trying to do the same to you, and you get the chance to kill them DO IT... geez women
tbourner
I haven't seen the US versions of dark water, grudge or ring yet, but seen all the jap ones and they're great. Battle royal is brilliant as well! I might see Creep anyway, even though you're all saying it's crap! I wanna see the descent too.
