Noz
Guys, my buddy has looked into going turbo on his ST24, and reckons on a stock compression his 170bhp (stock rated) 2.5 is possible to hit 350bhp without lowering compression, without running water/meth and this bhp figure has been reached in the US so would also be done using 93 ron fuel using stock internals. Is this rubbish? I know I push the luck with my NA-T on stock compression, but they don't have a turbo big brother like the GE does the TT on the supra, so the parts are uprated for boost from the start. Didn't know if anyone here had any ever gone down the ST24 route, NA or Turbo.
Scott
Tell him to go for it then take both cars to a RR on the same day. Depending on the dyno the car gets ran on there can be a fair whack of a difference in power. I would be VERY surprised if it hit 350 without touching anything though, in fact I would be literally gobsmacked.
Noz
Well being standard at 170 that's more than double using stock injectors and compression, to double a cars power on stock anything is impressive, but with EVERYTHING stock. thats what I thought buddy.
