Not normally a meet I'd go to but some of my mates were going to check it out so said I'd go for an hour. the highlight of the night was the guy in the yellow chav car who was dressed as Bananaman. Lol.
JasonR24
Lovely car mate. Would love to see it in person! I can see why you were so pissed off by the graphic when you've paid that much for it id be pissed too if it wasn't how I wanted it. Still looks good though don't get me wrong!!! hope it continues to go well with the replica. Turbo conversion next? well done

viper
It was that car in the movie that made me want a supra from an younge age. Good for you chap, Love it!!!!
Matt H
That sat nav panel looks OEM. I love it. You should build those and sell them. #hotcakes
Noz
Good skills with the sat nav. As a fan of custom work I dare say you've got the touch. You respray the dash as well as the colour match is perfect. I would ask why you didn't mould it into the dash, but since moulding a gauge into the clock area I can confirm it's a PITA removing it, so fully understand any extra hassle this would of caused (as I've already learnt I've shot myself in the foot) and you definitely went down the right path. pbryant_knight
I did respray the whole dash. I didn't mold it into the dash as the upper panel needs to slide up and in so the satnav had to be installed last to get it to fit. I'd have liked to have molded it in though, that was my first idea until i came accross this problem. I've had the graphics that i wasn't happy with re-done this week and they are a massive improvement. Here's some pics. Peter

SupraStar 3000
is the main difference on the graphic the mirror effect rather than dark gray? I really like it mate. Good work.
supra steveo
Looks much better but arnt the green splash marks ment to go further over the rear wing ?
ripped_fear
Looks much better but arnt the green splash marks ment to go further over the rear wing ? looks like they should hit the boot. Still looks good though.
pbryant_knight
Yeah, the green is a few inches shorter but im not fussed about that. Next it's the blue steering wheel and get quotes to have the front seats recovered in blue and black leather (don't want suede as it always wears so quickly) Peter

Next it's the blue steering wheel and get quotes to have the front seats recovered in blue and black leather (don't want suede as it always wears so quickly) Peter This is a brilliant build it really is! But I don't understand your ocd Peter - you agonised for ages over the grey knight, but don't seem fussed about the stretching of the graphic over the boot. It's about a foot out! Please don't get me wrong - if you're happy we're all happy
pbryant_knight
Yeah, you had to have seen the gery graphic to know what i mean. the Black was all misprinted with stripes in it where the print heads were running out, the ciolour was a really mucky looking pastel colour. at the least the green looks good, despite it being short. Also, the work to re-print the green and re stick it is more than i can be bothered with at the minute lol. Maybe in the future when i get the rest sorted. And Joe, He didn't charge me again. you can tell this as my fists aren't bleeding Peter
JasonR24
Nice one looks brilliant now! Can't you just get the extended bits made into a vinyl that joins onto the end? Would still look good if you did it right loving this car! Keep us updated!
