I'll no doubt forget to raise this at the meet so I may as well ask now, does everyone have a good local Toyota contact? I had a chat with the guy at my local dealership and he gave me 10% off and said that he always looks after owners clubs. Was talking about aftermarket parts etc too so wasn't snobby about everything on surpas being oem. He gave me his card to share on the forum but wasn't sure if people already had better local contacts.

Marcus, is that 10% across the board?

I pretty much said to the guy what about a discount next time for owners club members and he said I've already given you one. I always look after owners clubs, at the end of the day it's more business for me.

Guess you can only ask sunny, I know that there is a guy down South that does upto 17% off that gets used on here (and he's a really helpful guy- I phoned him with a few parts questions and he was great) but I like having somewhere that can get parts the next day too.

I meantioned there are quite a few of us supra owners up here and meantioned the club. When I went back for the parts he gave me his details for anyone to ask for. I'll do a thread at some point tomorrow and put the details up.

No worries Marcus, I was asking as I get a specific amount of discount for each category of parts that I purchase from my local Mr T, ranging from 10% upto 30% on item such as brakes etc. Just good to know what others are being offered. I also kept in touch with Parsons76 who was offering unmatched prices for UK Brake set-ups. I went to a place in Durham a year ago and was told that they did not do discount lol.

@ Westy and Ross, maybe a little introduction to your new EO roles in this section would be more productive, than flirting with one another.

If the weather picks up like it has today there may well be an impromptu run up towards our favourate stop at rest and be thankfull. Will make a decision on the day but hopefully that will intice a few others to come

The Rest & Be Thankful car park is effectively closed at the moment, due to the routing of traffic on the daylight only diversion around the latest landslide on Glen Croe, see http://trafficscotland.org/currentincidents/details.aspx?id=a4260 :(

Im sure Tony and Scott can figure out another good route between them. They both know those roads incredibly well

We can sort something out if that road isn't the best due to diversions etc. Possibly go out the back of baloch and head for Crainlaroch for some pics at Lochearnhead. Won't be a problem finding a route but depends on the weather on the day. Just need to wait and see.

Thanks for the offer, will be straight forward enough. Doing it in work so everything required will be around me.

The new bonnet has went back order so will need to see if that turns up in time.

I'd be happy to help if you need anything any cups of tea, coffee or just some tap water, you know where I am!!!
