Guest Fireblade
Getting my car ready for MOT I noticed some water in the driver side headlight...on closer inspection I notice the main beam reflector has gone 'milky'...actually 'white' at the bottom....I know I need to 'separate' the headlight to get at the reflector but what can be done about the 'milky' reflector? Any thoughts? Cheers Brian:)
JMB
I know that some people do great job for headlight "cleaning" Mine was kid of yellow and the guy came with some tools... 30 min/ headlights Later they looks new.
Guest Fireblade
Right I've had the light in the oven!...tasted great. Only Joking....anyway got it separated and gave it a good inspection. Actually the reflector is not too bad after a good clean,..think it's gonna be ok. A few years ago I had the lights apart and done the mod of spraying them satin black with 'chrome' rings around the 'dips etc as in the 97 ones. Probably didn't get one sealed 100% and that's where the problem came from. Anyway good chance to 'freshen' it up. But pleased about the reflector.
