Chucky_waR
So last night I wanted to swap the two cars around but the supra's battery was dead.. I turned the key but nothing.. No dash lights came on, just nothing.. She was completely dead.. Jumped start worked and went for a little drive to see if it charges.. Alternator charges and there was a little power but not enough to start her when I tried again.. Im really hoping there isn't a short circuit somewhere that that drains the battery but is there a way to check or should I pop to kwikfit for a battery test? Benjy
NEVER pop to Twit-fit!! If you can get the car to me in Gatwick I can test it, and if it needs a new one, supply it while you're here. Can also do a battery drain check.

Chucky_waR
Thanks bud.. It's a little far to go as I'm having people over in a couple of hours.. I just have enough time to go local.. Any idea what to check or what can cause it to drain? I know I did not leave anything on..

Abz
Did you get hold of Chucky as he was looking for you earlier on the forum?
Chucky_waR
Yes Lee gave me his no.. Ben thank you for helping me earlier.. Turns out this missus did have both interior lights on when was getting her handbag and can't remember if she did put them off again.. She denies it but you can see there is a little uncertainty in her face.. Lol.. I'm going to check it again tomorrow and see if the battery has run down.. I have a meter to check.. Once again thank you for the comradery. Edit.. Ps nice setup you have there..
Benjy
No worries mate, battery's in stock now anyway, so if you do need it i think it was about £65 with a 3 year warranty. Glad to have got you out of a pickle dude.
