fuldhat
The problem with the TX2KXX event is that the street racing in the night is only for a selected few.( Talking about the the 1500 hp+ boys). With 1000 roads+ that are empty and wide, why they dont do "nornal" street racing why more people can see and join in is so strange. Talked with some the locals and after they have seen some Gatebil videos, they agree it is 1000 times better, if keeping in mind the crows. That's not true really, I had a 420bhp mustang and got PLENTY of action at night, people generally go onto i10 race a few cars and get a group together of simalarly matched cars, we then head out in small groups( around 5-10 cars) as lots of cars makes it dangerous and there is no point me trying to race a lambo with 3 times the power and at the same time I don't want a riced up 1.6 civic getting in the way of our group, also it keeps it low key for the cops, large groups are just dangerous and stupid. marc_p
On another note, the twin turbo murcielago was on another level:blink:.
alex2jz
The Supra did well in those races. It had somewhere between 150 and 200 whp less. It beat the 1250awhp Stage3 UGR Gallardo easily. I think the Supra is one of the toughest adversaries for a TT Gallardo. Considering we are talking about a brand new, ultra expensive supercar vs a japanese sports car from the early 90's, the Supra gets my thumbs up. fuldhat
We had a Camaro SS, and had some races against others, but it is no fun in a rental. That is why I thought some more arranged streetracing in the evening would have been much better. They have so many completely straight, wide and empty roads, why there is lots of space for people and made it more a event for everyone. But all in all a great event. But you know you are in the US, when only 10 cars ran the track on thursday... They dont like turns
