Spence
I recently fitted used traction control switch on my car which worked fine. Then one day pressed it to switch it off and the light didn't come on. Also I think the traction control isn't working at all now? Any ideas or has the switch given up? heckler
Could be a fuse.. You'll know if the TC is working, just try and pull away REALLY hard and it should cut in like some one turned the engine off! But to be honest, put the traction control in the bin - its pants (this is just my opinion ) I never had traction control on my single... ashbuster
i have to keep turning mine off its so annoying , do people turn it off by the switch or pull the fuse? ive noticed alot of people dont use it and i hate how it makes the power cut down for the silliest reasons

ashbuster
I took the TC ECU out (small ecu next to engine ECU in the foot well) ahh does turning it off by the switch completely turn it off? or can it still interfere ?
supraGZaerotop
ive always been told it does indeed turn it off, personel experience id say yes it does why because after you switch it off there's little traction on the rear end so yes its off
ashbuster
lol just making sure , i didnt undertsand what was happening at first because its all the time even in dry, one tiny bit of spin and nooooooooooooo power, like someones holding the brakes on lol. i thought something was wrong but scott told me that it sounds like the traction control and when i switched it off it was fine. noting worse than trying to overtake and then it snails along lol
Samurai 20V
I have not found my traction control that intrusive.. If I spin the wheels from start, it flashes but does not cut all the power... In the cold conditions, if I floor it the car will go sideways, light flashes but it does not cut the power..car still goes the same. I wonder if it is working properly? ashbuster
mine cuts the power really badly like putting the brakes on sometimes even if im going along at around 30 then floor it if there is 1 tiny amount of wheel spin it happens i thought there was something wrong with the car but with that traction control turned off it hasnt done it this is in dry weather too
