Id like to Know what kind of gains can be expected from upgrading and removal of tha air flow meter,how miuch this would cost and last but not least, whos a good person or company that would do it..........Thanks. Everything I have read suggest that this mod has a benefit on single turbo cars etc but not on stock based turbos. Having removed the MAF you still need replace it with something (Toyota didn't put it there for nothing) and all that is available, albeit secondhand at about $800, is the HKS Vein Pressure Controller. Waiting in the wings is replacement 4" MAF by a US company but that would require fabrication of a custom pipework and recalibration of the fueling along with all the associated costs.
