SamuraiFlash
Shell ultra helix 5w40 is an excellent oil if Fuchs Titan pro S 5w40 exceeds your budget.
Havard
Mobil Super 3000. 5w - 40 Not sure how much M_Life paid for it but it wasn't overly expensive. H.

SamuraiFlash
Mobil super syn 3000 is also a very good oil, you can't go wrong with this or the Shell Ultra Helix.

Don't know how good it is but if your mechanic buys it for you and money is no object then I'll trust that. It will only be in the car for 3K miles before it gets changed again anyway. H. Swampy442
Mobil 10w 40 semi synthetic, Toyota oil filter. Like H said you'll be dropping it in 3k miles anyway
Josh42
Genuine Toyota 10w40 semi synth is only £17 for 5L from Keron, he runs it in BPU Cars without a problem, give him a call
Robzki
I still recommend the fuchs supersyn 5w40 £22 for 5ltrs or £30+ as a 6ltr +filter service pack. I keep hoping someone can tell me why its not good enough and I should be spending £60+ on a 'better' oil.
Samurai 20V
I used the HKS JZ-G 10w-50. It is supposed to be specially designed for the JZ series engines, but I doubt there is anything special about it, I bought it because it was on special. Previously I used Mobil 1 10W-30, the HKS made the engine alot quieter compared to the new Mobil 1...

Dnk
Just use 10w40 recomended for turbo petrol engines from Halfords 5L £23.99 or their 5w40 fully syn 5L £36.99, you'll also get an 8pc screwdriver set for free. I'm curious as to why a halfords £37 5w40 full synth is better than fuchs 5w40 fully synth at £22? I'm not looking to start a heated debate on oil as its been done to death and it is still a personal preference but what does the halfords one do that the fuchs one doesn't for £15 more? Tricky-Ricky
"5w40 fully syn 5L £36.99, you'll also get an 8pc screwdriver set for free." Although i suspect you could get a better screwdriver set if you paid cash... Also suspect the oils is all produced in the same factory, just the labels differ:eyebrows: Edited March 15, 2012 by Tricky-Ricky (see edit history)

dan294
For the £32.40 from Opie oils, I'd recommend the Fuchs 5W40. I've used that the last 3 services in my TT, can't fault it!
