Wohoo holiday finally booked up..

The Supra is going to get a few miles put on her this summer, ..... I've just finished booking up a road trip around parts of Europe.

Starting from Rotterdam down in to Germany to Heidelberg. Then on to Fussen near the Alps before heading down through Switzerland and to the French mediterranian coast.

Then along the coast to Italy and down to Pisa before making our way back up through the Alps and through the Black Forest back towards Rotterdam again.

Its quite an expensive option compared to the package type holidays but we've done it before and I think its worth it. The freedom to go and do what you want instead of being limited to a beach somewhere is the big difference. Travelling through places towards different destinations as opposed to flying over them at 35,000ft etc. etc.

So, anybody else using their Supra on holiday this year?

Yeah, did this already on the last trip!

I have a bullet cam vid of it somewhere on my hard drive.

It looks very different when not in 'F1 weekend track mode', cars parked every where, scooters flying in and out of traffic, very busy and congested etc. , but saying that its a good experience and something to stick in the memory.

I actually turned round and did the circuit in reverse too :)

Yeah quite a few of us on the Dragonball !! Remember to take loads of photos

Just been reading the Dragonball event. Looks like a good one with 40 cars already confirmed!

From Calais to Rotterdam and back to Calais. Interesting route.

Excellent. Do you know which route you are taking over the alps yet?

Austria or Switzerland?

Austria is a nice scenic route with good flowing roads, but I'm doing the Switzerland route this year for the first time. :)

I went to Garda last year, it's easily one of the most beautiful places in Europe. I'd highly recommend a trip up the Dolomites while you're there :)
