black_widow87
Just a quick question, does the length of the vacuum running to the BOV affect how the BOV performs? Iv just re-routed mine to make the bay abit neater but in the process added another 2 foot of vacuum hose. Jake
Scott
Yes, as long as you don't go nuts it won't be noticeable though. 2ft shouldn't make much of a difference as I'm guessing it's only 3-4mm ID?

That's a fair bit more than I would be using personally. Have you looked at following the engine loom underneath the spark plug cover or something like that? To keep it neat? I think this is one of the reasons for wanting the BOV as close to the inlet as it can be, that way it can be actuated WAY faster. You will know if you pop a pipe that it's not actuating fast enough, if you're happy with it as is and it doesn't cause you any issues then it's fine

Scott
Following the engine loom sounds like a good idea but wouldn't it get abit hot in there? It might be a little warm but those silicone hoses can take a fair bit of heat. I wouldn't be worried about it. Just stick to the front of the cover, don't run it down the length of the head.
