Hellstrom
Hi, anyone know whats acceptable results when doing a leakdown test on a cold engine? just bought a tester and iam probebly going to assembly the cylinderhead this week and do a test just to check everything is okay before getting it fully assembled and lifting in to the bay. regards Johan
Tricky-Ricky
I usually do my leak-down tests cold or only just warm, and i usually go by no more than 15% max, thats for a std engine.
Hellstrom
Will put the cylinder head on either tomorrow or tuesday so ill see by then. Iam probebly going to use oil in the cylinders as my bores are fresh honed and not run in yet. Just want to make sure its not leaking unresonsble. Thanks for info Regards
