Digsy
Can any body tell me how hard it is to unbolt and remove the front wings? Doesn't look too hard from the "diagram" on EPC.
Kirk
Its a doddle mate. Bumper off, headlights out, jack the car up and remove the front wheels (you don't have to but it makes life easier) then take the arch linear out and all bolts should be visible to you. The rest is childs play

Schtuv
I did this a few years ago without too much trouble. From an old post I made: ... two bolts under the door sill, two by the door hinges, one behind the light, loads under the bonnet, and all the ones attaching the wheel well plastics. I think there's a couple inside attaching behind the nose that you can just reach if you pull the plastic out the way and put the wheels on lock. Then you just have to pop out the indicator by moving it to the side, or disconnecting the loom to it as you take the wing off. Make sure you attach the fixings under the sill and by the door hinges before attempting to open/close the door, as these hold it rigid - without those it'll bow in slightly and foul the edge of the door Yeah, on the last point I managed to chip and bend my new wing 5 minutes after putting it on the car :-(

Does this mean that might be possible?
Dim Sum
I don't think you can remove the wings until you removed the front bumper because theres bolts connecting from the front bumper to the wing.

Schtuv
Pretty sure I didn't take the nose off when I changed my wings as I remember changing the nose somewhere else, at another time, with more tools, and some help. The lights were out, as they were getting changed at the same time, though.
Digsy
I've had the nose off before and although it was easy to get off as I recall loads of bits broke. It could be that I don't have to take those parts off again. I can't remember which parts caused the problems.
