barneybrendan
I fitted a new glass lense to one of my headlights today.I have just checked it and it has condensation on the inside. Is this normal as the sealant hasnt properly set yet. Noz
Could you open the bung up to let it air through while the sealant goes off.

Noz
Oh you can take the main beam bulb out, that always helps. I've current got both out to air it as had some in both lights.
Havard
If you have done this indoor in a nice warm environment and then taken them outside you will get some condendsation in there. I would be tempted to remove the light and keep it in the house if possible. My lights became so bad, the water inside stained the inside of the lense. Luckily my replacement set have not suffered the same fate yet. Once I got them inside the house, they dried out within a couple of days. H. d-_-b
The light usually takes a few days for the tempaeratures to equalise between the inside of the light and the outside. - Keep an eye on it (as taking it inside will dry it out, but when you take it back out, the warm air from the inside of the house is usually warmer than the outside air and so condensing occurs) - The air shoudl escape through the little vents on the back of the light to help balance the temps and hopefully should mostly resolve your issue. *hopefully
SupraP-Z
Best thing is to do what Noz suggested, there should be a couple of bungs on the back of the unit, IIRC one of them is a straight rubber piece of piping with a stopper you pull out, and another is a U-shaped Rubber with another stopper. Just remove these and the light will be able to breathe so to speak. Leave the lights on the car when you take the bungs off

Noz
I ended up breaking off one of the tags on the bungs on the top of the headlights I have to use silicone now to help seal them up, PITA. How come you removed the covers mate?
