Emanage Ultimate Help

Ok i have put this here as i thought this would be the best place to try and get some help on this matter.

Car - Soarer JZZ30 1JZGTE

I installed the emanage ultimate, i started the car after splicing then after the injector wiring just to make sure everything was still working and i could trace it all via the software which i can.

My issue then happens with the ignition side, I have set all parameter to what they should be in the software but on the ignition tab the table for the firing is blank, I have tried inputing a value but it wont hold the value. I am running Version 2.20 software

I get the option to select a value but it wont allow the value to hold.

The table doesnt identify what each column or row actually is either

Can you do a screen grab and post it up? as its not very clear what you mean, it doesn't sound like we are talking about the same thing, hold on,

I will try that tomorrow, I have tried it on two laptops, One gives me the blank table as above, The other one does give information in the table however its just symbols like a character set is missing. We have checked the wiring and everything is as it should be. Does the EMU get its ignition pulse from the cranks sensor ?

It does sound like there is a software, or operating system incompatibility problem to me, have you got both the crank sensor and the RPM signal wired up?

i could never get the crank sensor to provide an RPM signal to the EMU with the 2JZ, always used the taco input, 1JZ may be the same.

I reinstalled xp and emanage to the computer and now data data in the table.

Still dont get any ignition have played around with jumper settings to a base set uup i found from the guys over in austrailia

What does this actually mean? nothing in the ignition settings still? or it actually not firing?

The ignition table is full but no spark when cranking.

I had the car running with the ignition loom not connected and moved each connector over one at a time. Emanage channels 1-5 are able to be connected and the car still runs however when i swap channel 6 over it kills the engine, the car wired up as follows:

Emanage Channel -> Car Cylinder:

1-1

2-5

3-3

4-6

5-2

6-4

The voltage was set to 5v but I have had it set at 12v but made no difference.

I am going to redo all the connections as a last go I will hard wire them all in to get by any issues with connections, I will also test each coil pack, what's th best way doing that

My IGN tab simply has:

CH-1 -> 1

CH-2 -> 2

CH-3 -> 3

CH-4 -> 4

CH-5 -> 5

CH-6 -> 6

I wired up the unit according to firing order:

EMU Ign CH-1 -> Pin B57 on Supra ECU (Igniter 1)

EMU Ign CH-2 -> Pin B53 on Supra ECU (Igniter 5)

EMU Ign CH-3 -> Pin B55 on Supra ECU (Igniter 3)

EMU Ign CH-4 -> Pin B52 on Supra ECU (Igniter 6)

EMU Ign CH-5 -> Pin B56 on Supra ECU (Igniter 2)

EMU Ign CH-6 -> Pin B54 on Supra ECU (Igniter 4)
