So went to bed last night with a small itch on my stomach. Woke up this morning and it was a little tender. So being hardcore never though anything about it. Went meet IanW in Glas to help him move some stuff. The itch started to get worse, but thought it could be a sweat rash, finished up helping Ian and headed home.

I thought right this is doing my box in, had a look at the rash and turns out its all blooming blistered now, straight the Phone to the NHS 24 hotline :D Spoke to a nice, and gave all my symptoms, looks like i've gone and caught bloody SHINGLES!!!! Just waiting on a call back to confirm and go grab some Antibiotics, Great way to start my Wknd. :(

On good note, it is cheat day!! BOOM!!

P.s its now all over my side, and up the entire Right Lat of my back. :(

I got shingles when I was going through my divorce, brought on by stress. Took about a month t clear up. This talk of antibiotics is interesting because I wasn't prescribed anything other than a cream to take some of the itching away. I always thought it was untreatable and you just had to let it run its course.

Dude, I feel your pain. I had shingles all over my back a few years back. I wouldn't mind, but they signed me off work, told me to stay indoors, and then gave me cream to put on the rash. My shoulders are big enough to stop me reaching my seatbelt with my left hand, how in the name of God am I meant to apply that myself!?!!? Legends!!

Hope it clears up soon mate.
