RCK10
As far as this forum is concerned (and that is only what should concern the mods and members) I will be selling in the members only section and therefore not breaking any rules. Indeed. I was looking at it from your point of view rather than the forums. Sorry.
CJ
Indeed. I was looking at it from your point of view rather than the forums. Sorry. No need for apologies friend. I know where you are coming from and will be as "creative" as I can be on other areas but on my home patch i will be playing with a straight bat

RobUK
This is governed by your local council, contact them and talk it through, I think it costs a charity I work for about £20... You have to fill out a simple form about how much you raised etc...
CJ
I have had the OK from the mods to start selling tickets and this will be done in the members only section. I am now awaiting a message from Macmillan to let me know whether they want a new justgiving page opened or whether we will use the existing one. I am erring towards a new one as that will make it easier for me to control who has bought what without getting the ticket sales confused with general donations. neo2810
CJ, have a look at BT MyDonate. It's basically JustGiving without the costs.

Graham1984
An alternative way to sell raffle tickets without a licence is to hold a Prize Competition. Rather than determining the winner by drawing, you will ask a quiz question and reward prizes to those who answer correctly. Since the Prize Competition is based on skill rather than luck, it is not a matter for the Gaming Board. Would that be a nominal question after getting your ticket drawn you get asked what 1+1 is?? RobUK
Would that be a nominal question after getting your ticket drawn you get asked what 1+1 is?? Sadly that wouldn't help with those people who weren't able to attend unless they had some sort of sponsor / nominated person.....
