Soarer or LS400 interchangeable parts for Supra

Hi guys, I recently bought kens old Aerotop supra and the plan is to fit a 4.0 v8 1uz-fe in it with the auto box which mates with it too.

I have too options, relatively equal in price but im unsure of which parts I will be able to use.

I have available to me a 92 Toyota Soarer with all the drive train in from the engine to hubs apart from brakes and wheels. From what I have read and heard, the supra is closely based on the soarer but how far do the similarities go. What i need to know is will the half shafts connected to the diffs be the same and fit in the supra, whether it is an LSD or not does not matter too much to me, but first i need to know if it will fit straight in the supra?

Alternatively, theres the Lexus LS400 which is also 1992 with same engine and box with similar mileage. Does anyone know if these components, the diff/halfshafts will fit onto the supra?

All i have heard is the LS400 diffs have 3 bolt points as opposed to 4 on the supra and soarer. But the car i take depends on which will have the least trouble fitting. As if the supra and the soarer are as closely related as i hope, then from the engine back to the diff should go in, and providing the wheelbase width is close enough it should work.

Does anyone know or have tried this before or know the part numbers for the Supra, soarer or LS400 halfshafts and driveshafts.

Also apparently none of the LS came with LSD's so its more likely for the soarer to have an LSD?

Thanks Brad

Also, if anyone has an aerotop roof they are willing to part with pm me and let me know how much :D
