Gaz6002
Never take the renewal quote. They always try to fleece you. Shop around. Try some other specialists. They're all robbing bastards, but it's a measure of how much.

Littler
I was looking at admiral (just being curious) and got a quote on my jspec tt with all mods declared for £1063 and I'm 22 with 4 years no claims and 4 years experience, it's worth a look when your young
tomgeer
Try Livingstone Warman, they seem to go right in with a low quote rather than d*cking about.

Dnk
Try Livingstone Warman, they seem to go right in with a low quote rather than d*cking about. They do quote their lowest price straight off but the OP is 1 year too young as you need to be 25 + with them.

Littler
Your quote: £2735.44 admiral Wow that's high! Even when I said all the BPU mods (future thinking) it still was £1251, maybe it's your area you live in? That seems to make prices vastly different? Graham1984
NA adrian flux £5000...... I think I will stick with aviva for £900 going down to £800 in September thanks. Full licence 1year tomorrow 1years ncb but handily aviva count your full licence from when you got a provisional which I did in 2004 so that helped a bit
jon5698
Try http://www.noeldazely.co.uk i was paying £799 fully comp for my facelift TT6 when i was 26 and only 3 years ncb, get a tracker fitted to it as that brought the cost of mine down a lot. I would never get a tracker fitted as that would just work against you in every bit of bad driving you do surely.
add heywood
To be honest, all these insurance threads are pretty pointless, as I have found it's your postcode that dictates price the most. I live in the highest rating postcode you can have (Manchester) and get ludicrous insurance quotes... 11 years driving with 9 years no claims and my Transit van insurance is still £600!!! Josh
whaaaaaaaat! age? no claims? driving exp? 23, 4 years NCB, been driving for 6 years tomorrow. Does help that Josh's is a UK spec, the insurance drops a lot lol Oh yeah
ScottC
I think its time for a thread entitled 'Insurance company's that can't give me a quote because I'm currently insured with Sky' Edited March 7, 2012 by ScottC (see edit history)
