Guest Maroaki3
I got a HID conversion from ebay.. it's not one of the expensive kits but works just fine. The only problem i have is I need an adaptor of some kind for the plastic that holds the bulbs and screws into the casings. The plastic is in an L shape, i'm not sure if this is just the JDM spec supra's or not but i'm wondering if anyone knows where to purchase some kind of adaptor ring? Thanks
AndyT
You talking about the plastic tabs. If so, some need trimming or loosen the ring in the case off and fit the bulbs then do the ring up.
Guest Maroaki3
But the standard bulb is fixed on the plastic trim. Id have to severe this and cut an exact hole to fit the new bulb and casing or it wouldn't line up right. As in it would probably blind other drivers.. I think ill need to take pictures tomorrow to better explain it maybe
SupraP-Z
The only problem i had on mine was that the tabs around the plastic ring around the HID bulb wouldnt line up correctly, so just had to trim a bit with the good ol dremmel...perfect fitment. Think its best if you take a pic just incase we're not talking about the same thing!
