Chucky_waR Posted March 5, 2012 Share Posted March 5, 2012 I wanted to polish my pair of facelift headlights and noticed some marking or stain on the bigger rings.. It almost look like it's could be glue ? Please see pic.. Is this corrosion and what can I do to get rid of it becuase I want to put them up for sale. Can't really see what you are talking about from those pics as there doesn't appear to be that much corrosion!? There is no simple method of fixing them...take the light apart and spray the rings or replace them with polished aluminium rings are the only options tbh!? Polished up afterwards. The fabrication of the jigs would be the costly bits i assume. Unless there's many chrome rings on ebay for classic cars/bikes. if a similar sized ones could be found.
