Been hovering around here for a week whilst waiting for my supra and have learnt lots. Still have no clue about engines though and need to disable the car from starting whilst I wait for my cat 1 to be installed on Wednesday.

Had thought about removing the battery but the dealer said there was something else I could remove with less effort but can't remember what he said it was. I think he said something in the fuse box, anyone got any clues?

Great site by the way and didn't realise a forum could be so peaceful.

Oh yeah, I got a blue '94 n/a manual with 64,000 for £6000 and am really pleased. My last car was an FTO which I loved but a bit slow. My next car will be a supra turbo I'm sure.

Thanks,

Duane.

I've found the ECU fuse but is there a technique to taking it out or do I just keep pulling hard until it pulls out.

Thanks,

Duane.

I'll give that a go in a sec, is there a clip to squeeze in or another kind of catch or is it just a matter of pulling it up as hard as possible?

Thanks,

Duane.

is it just a matter of pulling it up as hard as possible?.....Just pull it directly upwards, dont squeeze to hard though!......was worried about breaking it.......it's out, pulled it slightly harder and no problemo
