Graham1984
After seeing a lot of insurance company threads would it not be helpful if anyone that could be bothered to add their names to just one list stating the basics NA/TT/Bpu single ect NCB, Age, Full licence held for, Insurance company and the price I just thought it might clear some things up for people to find a similar member who has a near identical driving history so they might be able to make a somewhat educated guess over how much it may cost them to insure a similar spec car and a good company to try and ring. I know the mods are busy but surely even some sort of spreadsheet layout we could copy and add ourselves to may help out some people so they can quickly scan other NA's or TT's and get a rough idea. I know the modifications may make that a tad tricky but it might stop everyone trawling through endless threads.
Havard
Insurance is a lottery. When I see a thread with all 14 million permutations from the National Lottery, then we should look at the longer odds with Insurance..!!
Graham1984
Insurance is a lottery. When I see a thread with all 14 million permutations from the National Lottery, then we should look at the longer odds with Insurance..!! I know what you mean but I thought it may give a slight indication of cost although not accurate and may help people considering bpu ect what future costs may look like. I didn't want anything lavish even a list like CJ's dyno day who is coming would do just for people to somewhat compare so and so who is the same age years driving ncb is similar to themselves to get a ball park to look for. The other thing was where people who have used some of the newer companies like competition car insurance loads of people won't of known of them. I got lucky with my NA as many of the common search engines wanted around £1500 for my NA but aviva who don't appear on them were £900 fully comp with my dad as a named driver. I thought it may help a few lazy souls who don't think to shop around that's all. More than likely this is another Graham1984 dumb thread though
Dnk
Too many variants to be of any use. The only list that would be of any use is of insurance companies/brokers with web address's/phone numbers that members have had good deals with along with good service etc
