New BMW 61plate! 3door, could of been one of these, couldn't lose him wow...under 5 secs for a 2 ton DIESEL saloon...very impressive. I am kind of hoping Audi would put the Q7 V12 diesel in one of their saloons...

They do (did?) a 4.0 twin turbo V8 TDi in the A8, they're serious monsters! I would love to drive one of these 550s
bigbloodyturbo
What the hell is bmw's problem? So we can't get this unless we buy an X6 or X5? X6's are the fugliest cars in existance and the X5 is a pointless exercise in willy waving. This was their greatest oppertunity to hit back at the quattro and they've fluffed it. Thorin
Rather heavy, but then it is a 5 series. Will be interesting to see what torque numbers they're really capable of after a remap.
Gaz6002
It's a shame it's not coming to the UK. Instead BMW will be making FWD cars

jonathanc
I think the reason why we don't have the RHD version in uk is because the steering switchover will not foul the 4WD system. Shame though, I would definitely think there would be a market for those here as I personally think the X5/X6 is not appealing to me as well.
