Lbm
Naturally you were testing this on a private track. Perhaps your car still has a speed limiter connected?
coza
Any ideas where to get a delimiter of ?
Guigsy
your going to need a lot of road to get your na up above 125 anyway . my manual managed an indicated 150 which would have been more like 130-140 id imagine.... and then it wouldnt go any further and that took bloody ages. you could pull the traction control fuse or unplug the connector but this might only beon uk models? Lbm
I'll move this to Suprachat. I see you're in Cambidgeshire, so hopefully a local member could give you a hand. In the meantime try Whifbitz on here.
Fitz
125? The fastest my NA goes is in Reverse .....I'm so proud of it

dan294
But the cars been on a dino and reach 155mph ? You've no wind resistance on a dyno though. I've had cars off the clock on ours at work

welshbuddy
N/a clocked 163 so put that down to about 140ish? (Long private track) of course.
coza
It wasn't like staying at 125 as soon as it got there it cut back on the revs Like slowed itself down ???
Guest suprasteven
Hey Coza, i know what you mean as i bought myself a N/A about 3 months ago and was thinking the same thing but i got some goo advice from these guys and trust me they re right most of the time! a lot of Supra knowledge on here! go to whifbitz or knight racer and delimit the car but dont expect major miricles as i have not been able to top 120 . . . yet!! (private track off course)
Graham1984
It wasn't like staying at 125 as soon as it got there it cut back on the revs Like slowed itself down ??? I didn't realise NA's have fuel cut.
Fitz
My guess, still limited at 112 mph (like mine) although speedo gave a wrong indicative being on the dyno.
Thorin
I daren't go above 87mph. There's no telling what might happen if you go to 88...
Havard
This thread is awesome. Try emptying the ashtrays and draining the water from your tyres. This should make it quicker..!! H. qwarrior
Whip the passenger carpet up and remove the foot guard and see if theres a little black voodoo and witchcraft box spliced on to the harness to the metal gadget box. If not, get it delimited or 112 leptons is your theoretical max, on a private track of course.
