I'm reading and from what I've read it seems I shouldn't use precious metal plugs ei..(platinum, iridium) cuz they are able to take more punishment and heat, so I won't notice engine issues until it's to late. as I would with copper. Motor could fail before plugs have a chance to fail. I dunno just what I've read...

Depends if you are having mis firing problems. A spark plug shouldnt fall apart in your engine. If your having a misfire then its recommended to use coppers or if your on the dyno and tuning it and going into areas it has not been before.

Iridiums can lose the tip as their quite fragile so i personally don't use them and dont need to.

Copper will work fine and be the cheapest option but they will need replacing much more

frequently than Platinum.
