Dnk
I'd fit platinum over copper if it were my car, have a good search around for the plugs as prices vary quite a lot see here http://www.sparkplugs.co.uk to give you an idea, some places want lots more !! RZtwin
I'm reading and from what I've read it seems I shouldn't use precious metal plugs ei..(platinum, iridium) cuz they are able to take more punishment and heat, so I won't notice engine issues until it's to late. as I would with copper. Motor could fail before plugs have a chance to fail. I dunno just what I've read...
Noz
Depends if you are having mis firing problems. A spark plug shouldnt fall apart in your engine. If your having a misfire then its recommended to use coppers or if your on the dyno and tuning it and going into areas it has not been before. RZtwin
I'm not experiencing any misfiring at all. So platinum is cool ? What NGK part# should I get?
Dnk
Iridiums can lose the tip as their quite fragile so i personally don't use them and dont need to. Copper will work fine and be the cheapest option but they will need replacing much more frequently than Platinum.
