Pig
Need to be over 30 for Lynnbrook to be competitive.
Guest Gadgetman
Dont Lynbrook do "classic" poilcy where you dont need any NCB and this bonus can be kept on your runabout if you have one that is! I was also quoted £300 by Lynbrook in 2011 and will be calling next week to renew if things change i will post up!! BTW The normal No. for them is 01704 822661 so no 0845 call charges here then! SupraFluff
Just spoke to a man at Lynbrook, who spoke down to me, I held for a few minutes while he went away to get a price, and came back saying all the insurers aren't able to insure me!! I'm 27, maximum NCB, NA Supra parked on drive with security lights, clean licence, I think a perfect candidate, and they won't insure me! Wtf?! Very disappointed / bit angry. I'm definitely sticking with Livingstone Warman (if they come back to me with same/improved renewal price after address/mileage change)
Robzki
They didn't even ring me back. their loss. Have you tried CCI They insure over 25's and even women. I know, unbelievable.

Robzki
Good! I'm glad I've learned how to use the edit button Or how to *think* before posting, haha. I'm going to be intrigued all day now, did you fart break wind or were you flirting with someone and don't want to get caught by the other half, or were you asking who CCI are, or were you wondering whether if you unscrew your belly button will your bum fall off or....... supra steveo
These guys quoted me £650 fully comp 6K miles per year with an excess of £750 !!!!!!!!! think I will stay with sky as they beat Adrian flux who quoted me £710, sky then had something to beat and they did for £702 ( every penny counts lol )
Lbm
Just to remind ourselves folks that the Op's car is an NA, not a Turbo - therefore partially explaining the nice price
SupraFluff
Yep, the last one. I was "being efficient" and rang the first CCI that came up on Google. After speaking to them I posted "They only insure commercial vehicles" THEN it dawned on me that this couldn't possibly be Competition Car Insurance. *duhh* Anyway thats all it was. Sorry to disappoint. Made myself look silly for a few seconds that's all. Used to it.
Robzki
LOL, I can sleep easy now. Thanks for letting me know. oh and its competition car insurance under their specialist/sports car scheme. our tt was around £400 a year with 10k value 399hp and no limit on mods. with commuting etc Obviously yours will be more as you are so young. Pig
I have just renewed (not with lynbrook) at £600!!! It's so bloody expensive for a car that is used for prob 1000 miles a year. (3k road use limit on the policy). 26 (27this month) and single uk manual. Why does no one want to insure kids in fast cars these days!!!
