bradleyh_15
At the end of my tether! I have just put the battery back in as it's been off the road and now the bonnet won't close! Iv tried pulling/pushing the bonnet release cable inside the car and under the bonnet. Iv tryed adjusting how the bonnet sits but still nothing. Iv lubed the catches and given them a tap and nothing! Any other ideas?
Lude
does it shut without the battery in? you havent left any tools in the path of the bonnet closing have you, eg on the struts?

Benjy
If you try and shut the catch (bonnet still up) with a screwdriver, will it catch?
bradleyh_15
It does but easily pops out again

Geo
Ahh what was wrong with it?? Mine seams to move freely both the cables going into it were loose so it wasn't getting a good latch once bonnet was shut, even when dropped from a height or pushed down. give it a good check bud, fiver thats the problem.
