Westy
They look mint! Sure if you made a load and asked to do a GB that you would have plenty of interest!
Pulley
thanks, its not a very good pic, in proper light they look really smart imo unfortunately id have to get hobbyist or trader status i think to make these to sell

tomgeer
Really impressed with them, I could do with some for my facelift lights. Are there any issues with the aluminium getting those white crusty deposits on them? how would you prevent that from happening? do you laquer them or something? it must be annoying to have to split the lights to clean them up every year or so. Are you considering applying for hobbyist status then?, if so i'm interested in purchasing a set of these from you
Pulley
After they're polished I just wax them, this seals them and stops the aluminium oxidising

Branners
Be very careful how far you advertise what you are capable of. This thread is already borderline as people are asking you to do a group buy when you have been told you have to apply for trader status to be allowed to make these as it is part of your day to day job and not a hobby. Pulley
I currently make these nic-nac items off my own back and currently for my own vehicle, I enjoy tinkering and modifying my car and see it as a way of expressing myself I have NOT responded to any posts saying I will sell or make these an have stated that to do so I would need correct status I posted the pic for the same reason I'm sure other forum users post progress pics of thier various achievements and projects I apologise if I have been misleading somehow in showing my headlights, maybe I should include in my signature "not for sale"
Branners
Im just saying be careful how much you post about what you are capable of doing.
Noz
I think these look good. I would just state what you are doing rather than ask if people are interested, include items in your build thread. Its the best way to show what you can do when you apply for hobbyist status. I've had comments asking to build pods and headlight intakes, you will always get them even if you dont advertise bits for sale, people will ask if you can make them stuff because they like it so much and want to share the idea. i know people who get asked to make clutchs for v8's, like the rest of the people into custom items you just have to give advice and help people go their own way until you have status I think if you get it, it would be good but it wasn't you who started the GB idea so I would carry on with your custom bits on your own build for sure! Be great to see what else you come up with.
