Fitting electrical fan - help

Hi guys,

How should an aftermarket electrical fan be connected?

I've recently purchased an electrical fan for my radiator, but i'm not 100% sure on how to connect the wires.

The stock fans consist of the big viscosis fan and the small electrical - both are now removed.

Can i simply connect my new fan to wiring from the small stock electrical fan?

Thanks

You can connect the fans to the aux fan wiring but you would need to add an extra relay for the second fan.

If you need details on how to do it let me know and I will explain in more detail and email you somthing over.

You will need a thermostatic switch to trigger the fans when the engine reaches a set temperature, if you wire them up to the small fan wiring via a relay, they will only switch on when your running the air con, or over a certain temp, however i am not sure without looking at the manual if that temp is over normal running temp, but i suspect it is, anyway its not the way to go really, the first option is the best.

Sometimes i wonder why i bother!
