Jimmy James
I have a grinding noise in the back passenger wheel and it seems I be getting worse each day.. I'm guessing it's the wheel bearing and can't find one anywhere other than mill auto parts for £102/each. Is there anywhere cheaper to get a couple from? Also need to find some uk pads, same place does them for £50 for all four corners but thought this was a bit cheap. Any help is appreciated, thanks. Dnk
Toyota could be worth a call .....or perhaps not in this case, £229 inc vat retail + £55 for the seals !! Are you sure its wheel bearing and not worn out brake pads down to the metal ? Edited March 2, 2012 by Dnk (see edit history)

Jimmy James
Toyota could be worth a call. Are you sure its wheel bearing and not worn out brake pads down to the metal ? Brakes look good condition so pretty sure it's the wheel bearing, but brakes are squeeking alot so I assume they've glazed over or something.. I'll check with Toyota but probably more expensive there. Thanks.
jimojameso
The rear bearings usually always knacker the hub flange when they go aswell. Bearings are £70 Hub flange is £
Jimmy James
Wow Toyota is £192 per bearing.. I've found a place that will do the lot for £305 so already ordered. Thanks for the info guys.

Could also be a seized rear brake caliper.
