Dnk
I've given up with the AA and didn't bother renewing my policy with them in the end. Esure who cover my Landcruiser are offering me a deal with Greenflag so i'll chase that up and see what its going to cost me
Ian C
I don't know what the IT infrastructure is underpinning the AA and all the other providers, but I do know what's running the RAC Obviously, I can't say anything about anything in a public forum, but personally, I'll stick with the AA. This article is interesting: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2012/03/23/rac_data_centre_outage_bristol/ I ran that sev1 outage, and I can say there are a few, ahem, inaccuracies in that report. ScottC
Just joined the RAC about 2 minutes a go. Full cover on any vehicle for £7.50 a month with the option to cancel at anytime, so I'll be cancelling at the end of the summer
Dnk
Im not staying with the AA more on principal now but as far as service goes when i've needed their assistance its not been too bad. I'll give Green Flag a try and we'll see how good their deal is and possibly in the future how good the rd side help is
LOGIE
Im with AA for the 1st time this year (usually take it out with insurance) and i just took the basic roadside recovery for £39.99+£8 for wife added. What gets me thinking is ive never needed recovered yet. so add that up for 18 years ive been driving its approx £860 odd. Maybe i'll just keep my money and phone them IF i break down. You can join the AA after you have broke down and they will still come out to you.
