Looks like I bought a golf instead

I've been on the hunt for another car since selling the mazda mx3 I had as a tide me over after the aristo went. I'd been umming and ahhing over lots of motors. I didn't want another aristo as the reason I sold my last one was the roads around my way just didn't suit the car at all. I'd stuck my mini-monster truck offroader back on the road thinking the lanes would be ideally suited to it but oncoming traffic and horrendous slowness have made me realise its just not a daily commute hack!!

So yesterday I spot a not too tatty MK4 NA auto just down the road for a grand. I phoned them today and I was on the button for bidding on it when I remembered a golf, MR sensible head had seen a couple of days ago. The golf was up 20 minutes before the supra. I was convinced that the golf would not go for the next bid price of £1220 and that the supra would go for £1000 no bid. So I bid on the golf and won it and the supra had a surge to £1350. I wasn't prepared to go to £1350 for a laid up in a field supra anyways so I guess it worked out right in the end

But for 1 day I really was all prepped and ready to be a supra owning member of the community again.
