add heywood
Ok, so I am leaning towards wanting to keep the same style of wheels on the car, and have been told the GT-V I have on the back have been discontiniued. I was going to buy new rear wheels (the same style) on the correct offset, put the rears on the front (as they would fillm the new arches out), and sell the fronts for a few hundred £. Looking at my rear wheels, due to them being 2 piece split rims, the dish of the wheel where the face of the alloy bolts on appears to be universal... What I mean is there are many places around the wheel with slits that look like they could be used to bolt different types of faces to the wheels. Anyone know if they are interchangable? Or are they just for show? As I could try and source just the actual wheels and bolt my exsisting faces to them.
Ibrar Jabbar
The slots are just for weight saving and won't be interchangeable unless the center has the same outer circle PCD.
add heywood
Cheers Ibrar. I have just emailed a few UK based companies that make alloy wheels to see if the can produce a rim in the right offset that still uses the centre spoke section of my current 2 piece wheels... A couple say on their website that they do, just have to see if they are compatible with the sizes etc. Fingers crossed as would save me ALOT of £...
