Lee_e Posted February 29, 2012 Share Posted February 29, 2012 Just bought some new wheels and they dont clear my UK breaks at the front I know using wheel spacers is a big no no but i only need about 15-20mm of clearance, plus it will improve the overall look at the front due to the wheels being slightly tucked in from the arches. Jamesy Posted March 1, 2012 Share Posted March 1, 2012 i used 15mm hubcentric spacers on the front of mine for a year til i got my SSR;s mate. Just make sure they are hubcentric ones. d-_-b Posted March 1, 2012 Share Posted March 1, 2012 Ibrar at speedwells from the forum here I would reccomend The 15mm hubcentric spacers are usually a hubcentric 15mm spacer (with no studs in) but with a pack of longer studs. - You replace your stock studs with the longer studs (they are just over 15 mm longer to make up the thread you 'loose' from having the spacer on) and then the spacer sits on as normal. Scott Posted March 1, 2012 Share Posted March 1, 2012 are the ARP studs longer than the stock mate? The clue is in the word "longer" I wouldn't go with bolt ons for any less than 20mm. If you don't have webbed faces on the hub of the wheel they foul on the stock studs. I had to grind a set down on a mates car to get 15mm ones on. If the wheels you have are webbed on the hub face then you will be fine, if not and you really want the bolt on ones you will need shallow mount nuts (for the spacer) and you will need to grind down the studs so that they are flush to the spacer. garethr Posted March 21, 2012 Share Posted March 21, 2012 (edited) The Supra is 5X114.3 PCD, 60.1 centre bore, and M12X1.5 studs & nuts, so those H&R spacers are correct. I'm not sure what they mean by "Min. Offset = 35mm", but they would change ET35 offset wheels to ET20.
