Scott
I love all kinds of music but my favourite has always been dance. From "back in the day" hardcore right through to current dance music I still enjoy listening to the lot of it. Last week I started compiling a list of songs to make an MP3 cd, I started way back in 1990 and worked my way through to present day, selecting songs that really struck a chord with me so that I could relive those bygone days. Anyway, I remembered an amazing tune and I wanted to know what year it was so I started searching. I found it a little difficult to find information on it at first but I got there eventually. The tune is Troubled Soul by Lamai. I really struggled to find the specific mix I was after on youtube etc so I decided to see if I could possibly buy the single. It turns out that you can buy the 12" for about a tenner but if you want it on CD you need to special order it from the US and it will cost you £55 I knew the tune was rare, even at the time it was out it wasn't very well known. I remember all of my friends commenting on how good it was yet they all found it very difficult to get a hold of. I honestly wasn't expecting to see it valued like that though, it's only a 3 mix single lol. Anyone else a sucker for sentimentality with music like me? I'm almost gutted I sold most of my CDs on that music magpie thing, could be worth a small... fanta. Oh, the mix is by Michael Parsberg for anyone interested. Scott
Right £55 it is lol Not sure if it's still the same but I remember Kevin & Perry go large costing a fair whack a year or 2 back. Also Is Harry on the Boat is worth a pretty penny. Well, they were anyway. Not actually checked current prices. My Kevin & Perry soundtrack is tucked away safe and sound in the loft next to my homebrew

Scott
Going by amazon the prices are all over the place. I remember it being upwards of £30 second hand. It appears you can get it for less than a tenner now but no idea what their opinion of good condition is.

Scott
This is "new" prices. Some chancer is asking £150. As said I can see it on amazon for under a tenner now, I couldn't years ago. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B00004T3XY/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new Play has it from £15-£50 as well. It's a proper mixed bag. I think it was 2 or 3 years ago I last checked. It was £30 for a 2nd hand copy then. It's funny as the film can be had for about £2 lol. Payed over the odds to complete my Reactivate collection, still love it now and havent found trance to match it yet I've picked off LOADS of trance tunes from the late(ish) 90s. Lost tribe, Chicane, PVD, not to mention just about every Beachball mix there is lol. Beachball is probably my favourite tune ever. I think it was just a case of being absolutely fantastic and out at just the right time for me.
