New Horse has Arrived!

Those of you that asked me to keep you informed following on from my "help me choose a name" thread I finally got my new horse today! She was meant to arrive a couple of weeks ago but cut her leg so they couldn't move her.

I've been stressed all day as I know my boy doesn't travel well and hates moving to new places, and I've been told that if the new one doesn't like where she is she just jumps out- she's bred from a Grade A showjumper so I'm not suprised!

It all went really well, my boy loaded and travelled fine and didn't stress much about being in a new place- theres so much grass I don't think he's noticed yet... and they get on fine too, it's like they've known each other for years and have lived where they are for years - those fellow horsepeople will know how suprised I am about that!!

Anyway, here are a couple of pics of them safely installed in their new field. Couldn't get a good one of C as he didn't lift his head from the grass for more than a split second!!

How can you not tell? :p

C is the orange one (boy)

Dot is the Grey one (girl)

re name: I've just been looking through her passport and the name she was registered with is Johnstones Ramone, or Rommie for short... now she's Dot... and I'm not sure I'll bother changing it again - as TDaxGav pointed out I now have Dot Com. :innocent:

Can i borrow them for a day if they ike grass. i put some new seed down with feed and weed before the rain last week and i now have a jungle.

you could but on baby new grass you'd have a mud pit in about 3 seconds flat rather than just short grass ;)

Depends if she want to ride it or not as neither of them can be really... maybe C but it means spanking at least £500 on a saddle to find out!

Yeah she loves horses and used to have one on the Isle of Wight. She would want one to ride though, shame they cost so much to look after really.
