Sky remote pairing to a JVC TV

CJ

Recommended Posts

I am trying to get my Sky remote to pair up with my JVC LT-32hg25J model TV but failing miserably.

I follow these instructions:

1. Select any channel on the TV.

2. Point your Sky+ remote control away from the TV and press the tv button.

3. Press and hold down the Select and red buttons simultaneously on the Sky+ remote control until the red light at the top of the Sky+ remote control flashes twice.

4. Input the 4 digit number from the Sky+ remote control codes then press the Select button. The red light at the top of the Sky+ remote control should flash twice.

5. Point the Sky+ remote control at the TV and try the volume button.

But after inputting the 0053 4 digit code supplied and pressing select, the red light doesn't flash at all - never mind twice.

Any suggestions?

It's not working because there is 1 step missing from the instructions above. Even sky miss this step out in their own instructions.[OOPS][/OOPS] Try this.

Turn TV and sky box on.

Press TV on your sky remote.

Hold the select and red button at the same time until the LED flashes twice.

Enter the code 0053. The LED should flash twice again.

Press TV button again (this is the missing step)

Press select.

Press they sky button.

This should link the remote to the TV so you can alter the volume etc. If it doesnt work drop me a pm and I'll get more details from you.
