Hay guys

after having a abs problem i got on the car to sort it and found it straight away, the abs sensor wire had come away from holding bracket and was rubbing on drive shaft boot this has now damaged the boot at one point and grease is excaping so need to change the boot,

so just wondering what is the best way to do this?

if you take the hub off can you get the boots on and off with out trouble i cant remember?

or is it best to take the drive shaft off at the diff and unbolt it from the hub and take it out completely.

i have never done one on any car so im at a loss

Remove shaft, remove CV joint and slide boot on, fit cv joint back on, fill boot with CV grease (nice) and slide back over the cv joint, refit shaft and go find girlfriend wearing tight white top, grab breasts, get slap and go wash hands !!!!

You just made my day, Rolf

When grabbing the breasts I find it customary to make f1 engine revving noises, then get slapped

Real masters go for an arse grab whilst avoiding the first slap for the breast infraction !!!! It was more fun in the 80/90's when they wore white a lot !!!!

There you go again with the great advice, I've always been an advocate for the airhorns or tuning the radio depending on my mood. Must be why I've had problems in the past with lack of grease on the cv flange

Always make sure the flange is well greased is my tip of the day !!!
