Branners
basically you just turn up at about 9.30am, the competitors start lining up from 10am and it kicks off from there. Theres head to head 1/4 mile, one lane goes on to do a top speed run if they want and on a seperate bit theres a handling circuit. Almost always something going on. In addition you can walk around the pit area and look at all the competitor cars lined up and also visit the main car park to see whats parked over there. Goes on until about 5pm with head to head shoot out for the various classes from about 4pm. Good day out, expensive if you get tickets on the gate at £20 per person, but if you buy before hand then the tickets are only £15 or were £12.50 if bought through this club. mkiv supra owners club will have the competitors stand bit so you can lurk around in there all day, just make sure you introduce yourself to everybody. Ian C
This is involved: Stress, blood, sweat, tears, more stress, £££'s, more £££'s, even more £££'s, long journey, stress, borderline terror, then either exilaration or despair. Followed soon by deep fatigue And probably more £££'s. -Ian
