Scarface GTti
Did you not get my PM or do you have different wheel nuts to me?
Robert
lol i didnt understand ur PM, my wheel nuts look like you need a large allen key socket to get them off
Scarface GTti
Yes, that was what i was trying to explain. The easiest solution is to use a knuckle bar (breaker bar) that is half inch drive and to buy an allen key socket to fit.
Robert
what size is the allen key socket though? 11mm or 12mm??
Scarface GTti
I think its 12mm but i`d have to double check that for you in the morning. I also have this proper tool but its crap.

carl0s
I don't think you should really use a regular allen-fitting. The supplied tool is tapered - looks like it's wearing out but it's not, it's tapered so it gets a reight-tight fit BTW, they're shit. Get rid of them ASAP. I went for some nuts which come with a socket-type fitting. £40 set from Dave Sheldon Tyres in Manchester.
mr lover
i bought a set of new nuts and mcgard locking nuts from demon tweeks with tool for fitting and removing i think they were about 70 quid
absz
the size of the allen key is 12mm, you can buy a long socket type key. from a motor factor.
