p3te
I have one of these whifbitz catch tanks and am wanting to fit it to my TT, im fitting it with push on fittings and 19mm silicone hose. On a single turbo it’s just a case of welding a 12AN fitting on your cam cover and fitting a 90 degree fitting but on the TT there’s only about 20mm clearance between the cam cover and the vac hard pipe/turbo pipe there won’t even be enough space for a forged fitting i think, i thought about making a little elbow from some 20mm alloy pipe and could do no bother but then it means i can’t get to the bolt that fixes the cam cover any ideas on how i could fit it? JamieP
If you want to go the -12 route and dont have space in the stock position just weld up that hole and put a -12 on the cam cover where you do have room.
p3te
I thought about that but didn't know if it would effect how it, so du reckon it would be fine just welding the hole up and welding a fitting near the back of the cam cover? p3te
Should make things easier :-) thought it might have needed to be there because of the baffle inside
