Konrad
Time is coming where i might be forced to sell my Landcruiser. Since my trailer was stolen almost 2 years ago I do not have much use of it except for my missus to drive it to gym and shops. It's 1991 4.2 diesel VX manual version with 124k miles on the clock (which is nothing for those). I've done almost all what should be done on this one: new ACL BEBS. brand new radiator and thermostat, got rid of thermowax thingy and replaced with plate, changed front joint seals as those was leaking a bit, clutch was changed 3k miles ago, clutch master and slave cylinder replaced 2 months ago, timing belt and tensioner was replaced around 4k miles ago, new original front brake pads , rear antirollbar bushes was changed too, 4 new tires was put on car 7 months ago.. During 3 years I've done around 12k miles including 2 trips to Poland and back and she never missed a bit. Services was done by me every 3k miles using toyota filters and Shell fully synthetic oil. Bodywork is a bit tatty, quite a few scratches and front was partially matted by previous owner for some reason. There is no structural damage anywhere on the car, few rust spots around side window seals. Not leaking, heating is working, front bumper was replaced with very simple, yet functional (sitting higher) metal bar (old bumper was dented). Engine is dry and smooth, starting up without hesitation after half a turn. Car had all interior washed not long ago so it's clean Bad bits: 1. Light switch at indicator stalk in the car is faulty (probably) - main beam was not going on but I overcome this problem by connecting side light signal to seperate switch and you get dipped lights when you turn indicator stalk to sidelight position. 2. Front brake lines needs changing - I will supply new brake lines. 3. Towing bar is taken of the car, I still have it, but one screw would need drilling out. 4. Drivers window is not moving, motor is working but toothwheel inside is skipping. If required, I'll go through mot to get 12 months for a new owner, car is taxed till end of April. Having all bad bits in mind I was thinking to ask 3750 pounds for her, which in my opinion is very fair price for a car which needs few cosmetic changes to bring it to full glory. Dnk
I was almost going to make you an offer till i saw it was a manual so no use to me. Great 4x4 these though and one of the best towing vehicles i've ever driven.
Dnk
You should put your price up a bit i think I just had a look on the trader as i quite fancy another 80 series but their all usually star trek mileage and i just found a 96N 4.2 TDi manual done 237,000 for £7995
