Dying grey carpet

I dont know, since the Supra carpet has fairly thick fibers ; will spray paint not be too thick and get caught in the fibers rather than absorbed?

One of the guys I heard over here did his parcel shelf, looked good but faded after a few weeks. Definetly dont fancy taking to carpet out again!

Hopefully the Fabric spray works well,I will post some pics! The mid-night black looks really black!

Dyes with a high red content in the blacks will not be colour fast and will fade with sunlight. Paints are colour fast so won't fade otherwise there would be a lot of musky grey cars driving around. The spray cans have a very fine nozzel and so can be dispersed or concentrated dependant on how far from the contact surface you are spraying. I've only ever sprayed fabric materials, not shag pile but I could imagine If you wear gloves then you can flex the carpile pile as you spray to get a good coverage. If I didn't have a black carpet already in my supe I'd go check the theory out myself.

I used autoglym carpet die and it worked a treat, the only down side was I needed four to five tins :(

I used 2.5 cans of Fabric spray , 60 euro for the the three cans ; deligthed with the results . Had it on the long finger for a good while now
