CJ
I'm on the look out for an MR2 CT20B turbo and was wondering if there are any specialist scrap yards out there. I have looked at and tried the online breakeryard type sites that put your request to many others but find these are next to useless and damn expensive too. Anyone out there have any suggestions or is it a case of ringing around as many as i can?
bradleyh_15
Is that the same turbo as a celica GT4? If so I may know of one available as he has just updated his turbo I'll txt him and find out!
CJ
Looking at this here it would seem to indicate the ST205 GT4 Celica used the CT20B turbo

CJ
He has one and he is going to double check if it's a CT20B or CT20!? I am pretty sure it will be the CT20B as the CT20 was a diesel turbo off a (I think) Hi lux
CJ
Can you ask him if his car is a ST205 and what year it is and if there are any numbers stamped on the turbo? If it has CT26 then it is the same as I already have. Thanks for you help here.

CJ
I am pretty sure that will be a CT20B if it has no writing on the case. Did I read that right and he has changed it for a CT26? If so, why?
bradleyh_15
I have no idea why that's what his tuner said to do! He done it before telling anyone so his choice and his car has been off the road for 6month getting built fully forged and it's still off due to timing issues I won't name and shame the place just yet though until its been finished
