Nic
Noticed this on one of the MR2 forums, it's also compatible with the Supra autobox. http://www.gtechnology.co.uk/ ieKtg3gMlKE N-5ZoYZe5CA
johnny g
I know this chap, he used to live right by me - and he's a bit of an electronics wizz. Great lad, and loves his MR2's. I know he's spent a lot of time on this getting it right.
chazuk
Nice I quite like the look of the race setting (Race - As per road but with torque converter locked out in 2nd 3rd and 4th gears to allow maximum power transmitted to the road.) garethr
I like the fact that, unlike the Suprastick, it has the option to just let the Toyota ECU handle the gearbox. I think he's planning electronic line pressure control as well. Good for TT owners if he can make that work.
Neil-NA
How slow does that thing change gear.
Spence
How slow does that thing change gear. I noticed that. Also it doesn't blip the throttle on down change. I can see some diff lock issues if you change down at high revs.
Guest Eddie_r32
bit of a bump! I picked up one of these the other day, trying to get energy and motivation together to fit it today, anyone fitted installed one on a na supra yet?
David P
Ten years too late to be "the first". http://www.latentsolutions.com/suprastickuv.html Suprastick allows stock ECU auto shift-tables with the "A" series transmission, yet not with a Supra ECU as it's the only one in the family that recognises it doesn't have direct communication with the solenoids. Setting up the two sets of auto shift tables are all part of the fun anyway and Suprastick costs £350 less. Andy-No-Knee
It says the price inclueds fitting and set up. Let them do it!
Guest doninphi
That's expensive compared to a freshly imported suprastick...
David P
Flappy-paddle gear-change is a bullsh!t magnet on here. A Suprastick will work a treat on your Soarer and run from the stock auto shift tables if you want it too.
